The Glasses Basket glazes a full range of prescription lenses for UK opticians and practices, all fitted in a UK lab. Partners can order single vision, bifocal and varifocal (also called progressive) lenses. Thinner high-index lenses in 1.50, 1.56, 1.60 and 1.67 index are available for stronger prescriptions. Photochromic (light-reactive) lenses are available in both Transitions® branded and generic options, with UV and scratch-resistant coating included. Polarised, tinted and mirrored sun lenses are also available. Occupational (office) lenses for close and intermediate distances are supported. Every lens can be finished with coatings — anti-reflective, scratch-resistant, UV and blue-light filter. High-Index & Thin Lenses
Available in 1.50, 1.56, 1.60 and 1.67 index. Thinner, lighter 1.60 and 1.67 lenses are ideal for stronger prescriptions, reducing lens thickness and weight for patient comfort.
Photochromic / Light-Reactive Lenses
Photochromic lenses that darken in sunlight and clear indoors, with UV and scratch-resistant protection. Available in both Transitions® branded and generic photochromic options.
Polarised, Tinted & Sun Lenses
Polarised, tinted and mirrored sun lenses for glare reduction and prescription sunglasses. Available in a range of tint colours and densities.

Occupational (office) lenses optimised for close and intermediate working distances — ideal for patients who spend long hours at screens or in office environments.
Coatings
